Revamping the On Point Preparedness Website

Well hello everyone!

I can’t believe it, but I haven’t posted any article or video to my main website since January 1st, 2017.   That is pretty sad!!! However, I have been very active on my Youtube channel and have been publishing at least 2 videos a week for you all.

I’ve known for a long time that I need to revamp my website, and the recent demonetization of nearly all my videos by Youtube was the catalyst to do so.  So, to kick things off, I figure I would update any of my readers on exactly what is to come with the website and other changes.

  1. I’ve started a Patreon account to help out with the funding for my expenses.  This will help me cover the losses with Youtube.  My Patreon levels are at $2 or $5 per month and you can click here to access.  If you would like other ways of supporting me other than visiting this website or Youtube page, simply shopping on Amazon using the Amazon links on the right hand side of my website provide me with affiliate revenue at no extra cost to you – Totally a win-win!
  2. I’ve noticed my website has a ton of outdated content, and the organization is a bit clunky.  I’ve removed several outdated pages off of the site, and will start to re-categorize all my old content.
  3. NEW ARTICLES!  I will try to be as diligent as I can to repost all my Youtube videos on this website.  In addition to that, I’m going to start getting back to written articles.  Youtube videos take me a great deal of time to create.  However, written articles are much easier…I really should be doing more of them.
  4. Opening opportunities – I’ve realized that I cannot do this all myself…especially with my job, wife, 2 toddlers and a baby expecting in December 17′!!  If you have a passion to help me in any capacity, please email me.

Thank you all for your continued support and prayers!  Love – Mike @ On Point Preparedness
